The dinner featured after dinner speeches
by former Dons’ stars Mark McGhee,
Archie Knox and current assistant manager,
Duncan Shearer. Chairman of Rob Roy Reds
is Paul Morrison, a lifelong Dons fan
who is currently a business analyst in
London. Paul remarked, “There has
obviously been a lot going on in and around
Aberdeen during the centenary year, but
we wanted to mark this milestone in AFC’s
history here in London. We had a great
response to the dinner and AFC supplied
us with some items for auction, the proceeds
of which went to AFC’s youth development
programme. It was a memorable night of
fine food, entertaining speeches and reminiscing."
